1. Homeownership Counseling

Please note: Homeownership Counseling is not mandatory to purchase a home, however, if you choose not to complete your Homeownership Counseling PRIOR to signing a sales agreement, then you will become ineligible for most grant funds (i.e. the $10,000 V2V Booster grant, Live Near Your Work, etc.).
2. Pre-Qualify
If you have not been pre-qualified for a mortgage and do not have a mortgage lender, please contact Gene Frazier of Highlands Residential Mortgage at 301-672-3420 or gfrazier@highlandsmortgage.com.
3. Financial Incentives

Please note that it is the buyer’s responsibility to apply for and obtain all grant funds. Also, most grants are on a first come, first served basis and are not guaranteed.
4. Tour One of Our Model Homes
Set up an appointment to tour the model home and see the final product by calling Kelly Dale Terrill with Monument Sotheby’s International Realty at 410-440-3406. If you have a Realtor, please have your Realtor contact Kelly to schedule an appointment.
5. Sign Sales Agreement
Meet with your Realtor to sign an offer.
An earnest money deposit is required at this time.
6. Closing
Once the home is complete and the loan is approved, you can proceed to settlement!
